How many sessions will I need?

CBT is a short-term therapy designed to support you in a focused and practical way. While everyone's journey is unique, many people find that anywhere from 8 to 20 sessions can be helpful, depending on their individual needs.

How frequent are the sessions?

The sessions will take place on a weekly basis to ensure a sustained focus and more consistent progress towards treatment goals.

What can I expect in the first session?

An opportunity to share more about your current problem so we can start to develop an understanding of what is maintaining your problem and where we go from here. We will establish specific, realistic and measurable goals for treatment. I will also provide you with more information on CBT and the process going forward.

Is online CBT as effective as face to face therapy?

Research has found that online CBT is as effective as face to face therapy and can be particularly appealing due to it offering ease of access around other commitments such as work or childcare, without any travel required.
